Halloween month is here! Time for some scary pumpkin lanterns and ghosts. But wait! It ain’t Halloween till five more weeks! So what can be done? 1. IT ( 2017 )
Well well well let’s begin with some old fashioned clown horror film. IT is a fan favorite which has been directed by Andy Muschietti. IT follows Pennywise the clown who comes every 27 years to feed on young kids. And this time he has already taken Georgie, a six year old boy and the brother of Bill. Now Bill and his friends go on in search for Pennywise the clown who continuously has been watching them and is waiting for their soft flesh! The movie is adapted from the best selling novel by Stephen King.

2. The Sixth Sense ( 1999 )
The movie is directed by M Night Shyamalan. The story follows a child psychiatrist who becomes acquainted with a child name Cole Sear as his new patient, who confides in him, and tells him that he is able to see ghosts in real life. They seem normal, they come talk to him all the time. The two start their therapy and what follows will leave you dumbfounded.

3. The Conjuring ( 2013 )
Another fan favorite for you guys. The list is getting pretty darker now, The Conjuring has been directed by James Wan and to be honest, there won’t be Halloween without this one. The movie follows two paranormal investigators who are called by the family who recently shifted into a new house. The family has been witnessing paranormal activities in their house and believe that something or someone is there continuously looking them.

4. The Ring ( 2002 )
This Gore Vebinski directorial is a supernatural horror movie. The story revolves around a cursed videotape which seemingly kills the viewer exactly seven days after watching it. The movie is the remake of the 1998 Japanese film.

5. Lights Out ( 2016 )
The movie is a perfect example of how simplicity does wonders. Lights Out follows the story of Rebecca who has had a traumatic childhood because of her mother. The incident almost took her sanity from her. But now an independent woman, she feels that everything is in the past. But her life turns upside down when her kid brother tells her that he is experiencing the same thing with a supernatural entity being after him and their mother talking to her imaginary friend Diana. Rebecca and his boyfriend try to dig into the matter only to find out stunning revelations!

6. The Ritual
What initially starts off as a reunion trip for the group of friends eventually turns out to be life threatening situation for them. One of the members of the group gets injured and thus they have no choice but to go through the forest so that they can reach their cabin 2 hours earlier. But one wrong turn brings them to a haunted house where someone evil is awaiting them!

7. Insidious
The 2010 film is etched in our hearts. The movie follows a family of 5 which includes Josh and Renai Lambert, their sons Dalton, Foster and baby Cali move into a new house where Dalton while working on an attic falls down and hits his head and goes into a coma. Strange things start to happen in the house prompting them to change their house. But trouble doesn’t stop for them here as the demonic entity through Dalton will follow them everywhere untill he gets Dalton’s body.
