The trailer of MX Player’s cute, feel good film ‘Balcony Buddies’ starring Amol Parashar and Aisha Ahmed is out. This light-hearted film is about Pratik and Sunanda, two strangers who become friends, across balconies during the lockdown.
The trailer starts with the line, “Aristotle ne kabhi kaha tha, that man is, by nature, a social animal”. So what happens when man’s social life is taken away? In this case, if not face to face, an unusual friendship forms between these two youngsters via their balconies! How they interact, share their thoughts and become a part of each other’s lives basically forms the crux of the movie.
The lockdown has been hard on everyone, especially those who have been living alone. In such cases, isn’t it wonderful to find a friend in the most unexpected way? The cute chemistry between the two actors, inspite of being physically apart the whole time is quite heartwarming to see. Does this friendship blossom into love? Well, we’ll have to wait and see!
Amol, who is popular for his role as Chitvan in TVF Tripling, was recently seen in the Netflix series Feels Like Ishq, opposite Radhika Madan, that has been garnering good reviews. He also appeared in the recent movie Dolly Kitty aur woh Chamakte Sitare. As for Aisha, she was last seen in 2020’s Zindagi in Short. Post that, she also appeared in the short film Amritsar Junction.
