Prime Video has dropped a brand new official trailer of ‘My Spy: The Eternal City’, starring Dave Bautista as the lovable CIA agent, J.J. Alongside him, we see Chloe Coleman reprising her role of Sophie.
The trailer starts with J.J. training Sophie (now a teenage girl) to make her a CIA agent like him. However, J.J. becomes overprotective of Sophie. On the other hand, the latter is growing up and learning about her place in the world. J.J. tries to stay away from fieldwork as much as possible to stay close to Sophie. And he picks up a new habit, making scones.
Things get crazy after Sophie decides to go to Italy for a school trip with her friends. They become even crazier after David Kim (Ken Jeong), J.J.’s boss, chooses the latter for an important mission in Vatican City, near Rome (Italy). This allows J.J. to accompany Sophie to Italy, both to look after her and carry out his mission. However, soon we see Sophie becoming a part of J.J.’s mission too.
Apart from Dave Bautista and Chloe Coleman, the duo of Ken Jeong and Kristen Schaal reprises their respective roles in ‘My City: The Eternal City.’ The upcoming film is a direct sequel to My Spy (2020). New faces that will appear in the sequel are Anna Faris, Craig Robinson, Flula Borg, Billy Barratt, and more. It will come out on Prime Video on July 18. Stay tuned for more updates.
