On the occasion of his birthday today makers of ‘Vishwambhara’, Chiranjeevi’s upcoming tentpole film, have unveiled the veteran star’s first look. The film was announced last year on his birthday and is set to release in cinemas on Sankranthi next year.
In the first look poster launched, Chiranjeevi is seen down on his knees on a black rock holding a trident charged by thunder in the background. The thunder originates in the sky and through the trident flows down into the rock and below.
The whole poster has that mystic, mythological feel to it. Moreover, the title in the poster reads, “When myths collide, legends rise”, hinting at the fantasy drama theme of ‘Vishwambhara’.
In addition to Chiranjeevi, ‘Vishwambhara’ also stars Kunal Kapoor, Trisha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ashika Ranganath, Mrunal Thakur, Surbhi, Harsh Vardhan, Vennela Kishore, Praveen, Isha Chawla, Rao Ramesh and Subalekha Sudhakar.
‘Vishwambhara’ is Chiranjeevi’s 156th film in the lead role that is written and directed by ‘Bimbisara’ fame Mallidi Vassishta. Chota K. Naidu is the cinematographer for the film while editing is handled by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Academy Award winning music director M. M. Keeravaani has composed music for the film.
‘Vishwambhara’ is produced by V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati and Vikram Reddy. A UV Creations production, ‘Vishwambhara’ will release in theatres on 10th January, 2025.
