Nag Ashwin Celebrates Success; Was Attack on Animal Necessary?

Making a big feature film is a rigorous task that requires several years (if it is not an Akshay Kumar film). If the critics hail it, and the audiences rush towards it then it is certainly a remarkable film that the makers need to celebrate. There is no denying that Nag Ashwin has every right to celebrate the success of his film.

But, was that an attack on Animal that he mentioned in his Instagram story?

This is a screenshot from the Instagram story of Nag Ashwin in which he can be seen celebrating the success of his films that are free from “blood, gore, obscenity, provocative and exploitative content”.

This is indeed true but many fans have started complaining that this was an attack against Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal that had “blood, gore, obscenity, provocative and exploitative content” in abundance. Actually, the way Animal makers reacted to the success of the film is also very toxic. They went on attacking veterans like Javed Akhtar and everyone who didn’t agree with their style of filmmaking.

In a way, the success of Animal is indeed problematic in many ways but the fans of the film have a huge box office number to boast about.

Regardless, this caption of Nag Ashwin has attracted severe trolls towards him who unleashed at the man with BOX OFFICE NUMBERS and dangerously wrong knowledge of Mahabharata.
