Trailer for Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming action-thriller ‘Custody’ is here and it’s one dramatically thrilling action ride. Helmed by Venkat Prabhu, ‘Custody’ will release in cinemas in Telugu and Tamil on 12th May, 2023.

‘Custody’ trailer begins with Shiva (Naga Chaitanya Akkineni), a constable in the police department, facing problems in both his personal and professional lives. While his seniors ridicule him for insubordination and carelessness, his love interest (Krithi Shetty) is about to get married to someone else if he doesn’t act urgently.

Amongst all this comes up a curious high level case and Shiva cannot help but get involved. He then takes it upon himself and goes against his own department and the whole system to present a hardened criminal, played by Arvind Swami, in the court.

‘Custody’ trailer is intense, action packed and carries a mystery factor as to why the lead star is so hell bent on taking up a case much above his rank and pay grade. Is there a personal factor or is it all about fighting for the truth and justice?

In addition to Naga Chaitanya, ‘Custody’ stars Krithi Shetty as the female lead and Arvind Swami playing the antagonist. Other cast members include Sarath Kumar, Priyamani, Vennela Kishore and Premgi Amaren. The film has onboard musical maestro Ilayaraaja who along with his son Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose music for the film.

‘Custody’ marks the first association of Naga Chaitanya and director Venkat Prabhu and is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under his Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. ‘Custody’ will release in cinemas in Telugu and Tamil on 12th May, 2023.
