Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Devil: The British Secret Agent has locked its premiere date on Prime Video. The Abhishek Nama directional will arrive on the streaming platform on January 14, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.

The film revolves around a secret agent, Trivarana, aka Devil (played by Kalyan Ram). His journey in the film is filled with action, love, betrayal, and deceit. In addition to Kalyan Ram, the movie has Samyuktha Menon, who plays Nyshadha, Trivarana’s love interest. The rest of the cast includes Malvika Nair, Elnaaz Norouzi, Satya, Srikanth Iyengar, Seetha, and more.
Devil arrived in theatres on December 29, 2023. That’s why the film’s early OTT release is surprising. However, giving an early OTT release window will benefit the makers as the film’s theatrical performance is horrible so far. It has managed to collect only 23 crores against its big 35-crore budget. Kalyan Ram’s latest flick joins the list of those flop movies that received early OTT releases to compensate for their losses.
Apart from helming the film, Abhishek Nama also co-produced Devil: The British Secret Agent with Devansh Nama under the banner of Abhishek Pictures. Soundararajan took care of the film’s cinematography. On the other hand, Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Tammiraju were responsible for the film’s music and editing. Stay tuned for more updates.
