It seems like Nani’s latest action thriller, HIT 3, also known as HIT: The Third Case, has found the perfect platform for its highly anticipated OTT release. The movie premiered in theatres on May 1 and opened to a fantastic response from viewers. As a result, it has delivered an impressive box office performance, earning over ₹114 crore during its ongoing theatrical run. Now, it is all set for its OTT debut!
While an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited, multiple reports suggest that the latest Nani starrer may premiere digitally on June 5. According to several sources, Netflix is expected to be the film’s streaming home.
HIT 3 is the third entry in the acclaimed HIT Universe and serves as a sequel to HIT: The Second Case (2022), which starred Adivi Sesh in the lead role. In addition to Nani, the new installment features talents such as Srinidhi Shetty, Surya Srinivas, Adil Pala, Rao Ramesh, Samuthirakani, Komalee Prasad, Ravindra Vijay, Prateik Babbar, Tisca Chopra, and more.
The threequel also includes cameo appearances by Adivi Sesh, Maganti Srinath, and Karthi.
HIT 3 revolves around Arjun (Nani), a ruthless cop imprisoned for murder. While in jail, fellow inmate Samuel saves his life. Through flashbacks, we learn that Arjun murdered two pedophiles while investigating a dark web cult called CTK, which requires recruits to record killings to gain membership. To infiltrate the group, Arjun commits similar murders and manages to join their ranks.
With the help of his team, including undercover officer Mrudula, he sets out to dismantle CTK in Arunachal Pradesh. Stay tuned for more updates.
