Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the biggest artists present in the country. The actor enjoys a massive fan following in India as well as abroad. Siddiqui who has been a part of several Hollywood flicks as well, has become the OTT king as well in 2020. During the lockdown, Nawazuddin starred in movies like Ghoomketu, Raat Akeli Hai, Serious Men which garnered him praise. With theatres coming back in play, fans were excited to see his next. And from the past few days there has been a mouth watering rumour circling around the social media which has left the fans excited. The rumour suggested that Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been approached to play the negative role, in Tamil superstar Vijay’s next movie.
Vijay who is coming off from a blockbuster success of ‘Master’ is already gearing up for his next movies. His next which is tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 65’ is being helmed by Nelson Dilip Kumar. So for the movie, the makers apparently require a big actor which can nail a strong negative character and Nawazuddin suits perfectly to the role. While the news made the fans excited, Nawaz himself has come forward and slashed all the rumours.
Nawazuddin, who has done grey shade roles in Raman Raghav 2.0, Badlapur, Kick etc, clarified that –
“I’m done playing negative roles for the period of time. And the rumours which have been circling around are completely baseless”.
This comes as a shock for every fan who was waiting for the collaboration between Thalapathy and Nawaz to happen. Siddiqui who has shown his range as an actor in every single work of his, would surely have been a great addition to the cast. But the rumours themselves are not true.
