Nayanthara And Her ‘Maya’ Director’s CONNECT Is Indian Conjuring

One of the major releases awaited by Nayanthara fans on her birthday was the teaser of her next release titled ‘CONNECT‘. The teaser is finally out and does the one thing it was supposed to do- to leave us wondering and wanting to watch the movie.

The teaser is a well-cut scene showing Nayanthara who plays Susan, a mother interacting with a few others via video call. Anupam Kher, who is supposedly playing someone who has knowledge of the otherworldly entities, can be seen trying to know the condition of the child better. The child tied to the bed can be seen abruptly sitting straight with pale non-human eyes, forcing Susan to quickly exit the room.

Watching the teaser, the instant reference one gets is that of the Conjuring and Insidious series. The tagline “The Devil doesn’t leave quietly” just about affirms the thought. CONNECT will give you no time to calm yourself since it seems the theatrical release will have no intermission between its 95 minutes. of film.

Nayanthara and horror movies are a match made in heaven(ironically).
The film has gotten fans of the Lady Superstar excited as it is their idol’s return to the horror genre after 2019’s ‘Airaa’.

‘CONNECT’ will see Nayanthara reuniting with Ashwin Saravanan, who gave her one of the most important films of her career-‘Maya’. He has written the film along with Kaavya Ramkumar. The horror thriller will be produced by Vignesh Sivan’s Rowdy Pictures Pvt Ltd.

The movie is set to release in theatres on 22 December 2022. For watching the official teaser of the movie, click on this link:
