Manifest, a series released in 2018 and that aired on NBC had a successful run ever since its release. Manifest gathered a huge fan following within a span of just a few years and with just three seasons. Sadly, even with the fan following, good reviews and reception NBC recently cancelled Manifest after three full seasons, leaving fans everywhere distraught and angry with such a decision. But, even though NBC ended up cancelling the show, news has crept up that Manifest could in fact survive after everything.
According to reports and the buzz going around, Netflix apparently is in talks to revive the show. This decision comes after the streaming platform started streaming Manifest with its two full seasons. The show within no time, reached the No. 1 spot in the U.S. Top 10 list, which definitely shows the popularity the show is having at the moment. Manifest creator studio Warner Bros. TV is apparently having discussions at the moment of bringing over the show to Netflix and creating more seasons, to complete the story.
This definitely sounds like happy news for the fans. If revived, Manifest is not the first show from Warner Bros. TV that Netflix would be reviving. Netflix earlier revived “Lucifer”, which too was from Warner Bros. TV studios and received massive amounts of love and immediately became a fan favourite. Netflix even has saved the well known series “Designated Survivor” before this and that too went to become a hit.
Netflix has been playing the role of saviour for many more shows and almost all of them have been revived successfully and ended up being superhits for the streaming platform. The talks about Manifest coming to Netflix have come up after fans stormed Twitter with the hashtag #SaveManifest, which also received support from its actors.
Manifest at the moment is not available to stream in Netflix India, and only is limited to the American subcontinent at the moment. But, it is for sure that if Netflix starts producing the show, Manifest will definitely stream worldwide, given the fact that the upcoming seasons will become Netflix original. But for now, if you want to watch an interesting, supernatural thriller, you can stream it on Amazon Prime Video.
