Neeraj Pandey’s ‘The Freelancer-The Conclusion’ Drops On Disney+ Hotstar On This Date

After a decent first half Disney+ Hotstar is finally all set to release the remaining episodes of Neeraj Pandey’s ‘The Freelancer’. Helmed by Bhav Dhulia (‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’) and based on the book ‘A Ticket to Syria’ by Shirish Thorat, ‘The Freelancer – The Conclusion’ will land only on Disney+ Hotstar next month.

The conversation for the same started on X with Anupam Kher inquiring about it from Neeraj Pandey and after a series of replies back and forth between them it was Disney+ Hotstar that announced the drop date for ‘The Freelancer – The Conclusion’.

‘The Freelancer’ follows an ex-cop turned mercenary Avinash Kamath aka ‘The Freelancer’, who takes up the daunting mission of rescuing Aliya, a newly married girl trapped in a war-torn Syria against the backdrop of growing ISIS terrorism.

The first instalment of ‘The Freelancer’ received mostly positive reviews and was praised for its fast paced storytelling, engaging plot, well written and likeable characters and the performances from the star cast.

Although the fact that the series was broken down into two parts and released at an interval spread over months is quite disappointing.

Directed by Bhav Dhulia, ‘The Freelancer’ stars Mohit Raina, Anupam Kher, Kashmira Pardeshi, Sushant Singh, Manjari Fadnis, Ayesha Raza, Navneet Malik, Sarah Jane Dias, and John Kokken among others.

‘The Freelancer’ is a Friday Storytellers production, the digital content arm of Neeraj Pandey’s Friday Filmworks. ‘The Freelancer – The Conclusion’ will premiere only on Disney+ Hotstar on 15th December, 2023.
