In a unique and special marketing approach, Netflix has dropped the first two episodes of Jamtara Season 1 on YouTube ahead of the season two premiere. This gives ample time for the viewers to catch up or recap the first season before season two premieres in 11 days only on Netflix.
‘Jamtara’ season two is all set to land on Netflix on 23rd September, 2022 and the streaming giant has adapted this strategy which won’t only create hype for the new season but also increase viewership numbers for the pioneer season.
In this latest second season the phishing world has expanded. Season 2 of ‘Jamtara – Sabka Number Aayega’ is all set to bring in more scams and unseen threats, weaving in old rivalries with new characters, bringing things to a head as Sunny Mondal (Sparsh Shrivastav), his older cousin Rocky (Anshumaan Pushkar) and Gudiya (Monika Panwar) take the fight to the local politician, Brajesh Bhaan (Amit Sial).
The scamsters have innovated and diversified phishing in Jamtara, and it has led them up against a wall facing insurmountable odds, politics and an unquenchable want of power.
While Sparsh Srivastav, Monika Panwar, Anshumaan Pushkar, Amit Sial and Aksha Pardasany will reprise their roles in season two of ‘Jamtara – Sabka Number Aayega’, the new season also brings in new players with Seema Pahwa as Ganga Devi and promising young actor, Ravi Chahal.
Produced by Viacom18 Studios’ Tipping Point, from National Award winning director, Soumendra Padhi and writer Trishant Srivastava, season 2 of ‘Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega’ is set to launch on Netflix on the 23rd September, 2022.
