Netflix and Snyder Are Still Hopelessly Promoting Snyder Cuts Of Rebel Moon?

The torture of the PG-13 version of Rebel Moon is hereby over. Pray to your god or your lord, but Netflix and Snyder now have two options ahead of them. Firstly, they can release the Rebel Moon Director’s Cut, which is as good as the Justice League Snyder Cut, or it can be as bad as the PG-13 version.

After being bombarded with bad reviews and ratings, Netflix and Snyder are determined to promote the Director’s Cut, which might just capitalize on its popularity. In a recent interview, Snyder is making his fans excited about the upcoming cuts.

To tackle the bad reputations the movies are carrying, Snyder stated, “Tonally, they’re completely different. They’re each an hour longer, they’re three hours each, and there are tons of scenes that aren’t in the initial versions. We went so far into the weeds with it to the point that even within the body of the movie, a line that was the same in PG-13 as it is in R might be a different take of the same line.

“Emotionally, it’s more like a parallel universe than an extended version. Things happen in the R-rated version that don’t happen in the PG-13. The event order is all different, so it’s really an interesting exercise.”

Snyder fans, though they are losing hope about the future of the director, know that Snyder made a major comeback with his Snyder Cut of Justice League. There are possibilities, but the PG-13 versions were enough to make someone lose faith in the director.

Will more blood, guts, sex, and violence make people watch it? Normal psychology says yes, but if people are disappointed enough, it won’t get anywhere near the popularity of Snyder’s other works. But as of now, the sky isn’t looking clear for Snyder; the champ needs to fight back.

But as Snyder said, he is considering the Director’s cuts to be a whole different movie rather than an extended version, with better dialogues, better editing, and better execution. Rebel Moon might have some run of fame. Whatever he is saying, it is definitely a confusing mode of shooting, at least for the fans. But if he and Netflix can cook something up, the future might look good.
