Netflix has revealed the release date of the eighth and final season of Big Mouth, one of the streamer’s most globally prominent shows, starring the likes of Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Jenny Slate, Maya Rudolph, and more. This outstanding adult animated sitcom debuted in September 2017 and has spawned a total of 71 episodes out of its seven critically acclaimed seasons.
Set in suburban New York, the show follows middle schoolers Nick (Kroll) and Andrew (Mulaney) as they grapple with puberty. Hormone monsters personify their sexual urges, while advice comes from bizarre sources like Duke Ellington’s ghost and a pregnant pillow.
The kids also face challenges like masturbation and emotional turmoil, personified by creatures like the Shame Wizard and Anxiety Mosquito. They navigate a chaotic world of physical and mental changes, seeking their place amidst the confusion of adolescence.

Netflix will release Big Mouth Season 8 on May 23. The upcoming final season will also feature some new guest stars, such as Holly Hunter, Quinta Brunson, Cynthia Erivo, Kristen Wiig, Steve Buscemi, Nathan Fillion, Richard King, Keke Palmer, Billy Porter, Ali Wong, Natasha Lyonne, Craig Robinson, and more.
