Netflix Announces New Korean Thriller Film ‘Wall To Wall’

Streaming giant Netflix has just announced a brand new Korean film, titled ‘Wall To Wall’. The new film is reportedly a thriller, and it comes from Kim Tae-joon, the creator of Netflix’s 2023 Korean film ‘Unlocked’. Kim Tae-joon has written the story and screenplay of the film, as well as directed ‘Wall To Wall’.

Korean film ‘Unlocked’ became a surprise hit for Netflix, despite receiving average reviews from critics. It was the debut feature of Kim Tae-joon, and its success gave Netflix the confidence to repose faith in the director once again. Thriller film ‘Wall to Wall’ is Kim Tae-joon’s second feature film as writer – director.

‘Wall To Wall’ follows Woo-seong (Kang Ha-neul), a man who in his quest to own an apartment, exhausts all his financial resources, including his savings, stock investments, loans, and even his mother’s garlic farm. However, he soon faces the harsh realities of high-interest payments. Not just that, his life in the apartment is far from peaceful as he gets tormented by disturbing noises from his neighbours every night.

Well-known Korean actor Kang Ha-neul (Midnight Runners, Love Reset, When the Camellia Blooms) plays Woo-seong in ‘Wall To Wall’. Yeom Hye-ran (Mask Girl, The Glory, The Uncanny Counter) plays Eun-hwa, the resident representative dedicated to maintaining peace within the apartment complex.

Finally, Seo Hyun-woo (My Name is Loh Kiwan, Decision to Leave) plays Jin-ho, the man living above Woo-seong. He and Woo-seong team up to find the source of the persistent noises in the building.
