Netflix Confirms Enola Holmes 3: Cast, Plot & Release Date

Netflix has announced Enola Holmes 3, confirming the return of Millie Bobby Brown as the titular protagonist and Sherlock Holmes’ equally brilliant younger sister. The project has entered production in the UK.

Enola Holmes is back, and her newest case takes her to the Mediterranean island of Malta. The reason for her trip remains a secret for now, but upon arrival, she finds herself in a dangerous and complex situation. As she unravels this latest mystery and navigates her evolving relationship with Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge), the adventure truly begins.

Here’s the official logline for Enola Holmes 3:

“Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.”

Adolescence director Philip Barantini is helming Enola Holmes 3, while Enola Holmes and Enola Holmes 2 writer Jack Thorne returns to write the script, drawing inspiration from Nancy Springer’s The Enola Holmes Mysteries.

Alongside Millie Bobby Brown, the confirmed cast includes Louis Partridge (Pan, Disclaimer) as Tewkesbury, Himesh Patel (Yesterday, Tenet) as Dr. John Watson, Helena Bonham Carter (Harry Potter series, The Crown) as Eudoria Holmes, Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Ballerina, Dune) as Moriarty, and Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, Justice League), whose return as Sherlock Holmes has also been confirmed.

Production on Enola Holmes 3 has officially begun, but there is no word yet on a release date. Netflix is expected to make an announcement soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
