Netflix has unveiled the teaser for its much anticipated romance k-drama ‘Doona’ and it offers a tantalizing glimpse into the romantic saga ahead. Coming from the makers of ‘Crash Landing on You’, ‘Doona’ will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 20th October, 2023.
‘Doona’, a coming-of-age drama series follows the intertwined destinies of freshman Lee Won-jun and former K-pop idol Lee Doona as they navigate the complexities of communal living. Having left her celebrity days behind, Doona crosses paths with the tenacious Won-jun in a picturesque shared house. Their dynamic oozes intrigue, as Doona’s candid emotions both enchant and perplex Won-jun. With Lee Jung-hyo’s masterful direction, viewers can expect an emotionally gripping journey.
Suzy (‘Start-Up’, ‘While You Were Sleeping’) who was previously a K-pop star herself, takes on the role of Doona, while Yang Se-jong (‘Dr. Romantic’) plays starstruck Won-jun. ‘Doona’ will launch globally only on Netflix on 20th October, 2023.
