Out of nowhere, Netflix has unveiled a new sneak peek for Arcane Season 2. The upcoming season will be the final chapter of the story between Jinx (Ella Purnell) and Vi (Hailee Steinfeld). The latest sneak peek shows some thugs capturing Jinx following Silco’s death. They complain about Jinx’s blubbering. Just when one of them raises his weapon to kill Jinx, Sevika (Amirah Vann) shoots his hat out of nowhere as a warning sign. Watch the clip below!
It seems like the second season will commence right after Silco’s death. We see Jinx kidnapping VI, Caitlyn, and Silco in the Season 1 finale. Moments before this abduction, Jayce cuts a deal with Silco, offering him the Zaun city’s independence in exchange for Jinx. This scenario gives Silco great distress. Jinx overhears everything and decides to abduct Silco, along with VI and Caitlyn. Jinx also forces Vi to select between her and her love, Caitlyn. However, Vi turns the tables by reminding Jinx of their childhood memories. The latter suffers a traumatic attack and she accidentally kills Silco, who expresses her fatherly love to her in his final moments. Just as the council prepares to grant Jayce’s request, Jinx launches a powerful attack on Piltover, declaring an all-out war.
Jinx will finally accept the chaos that reigned in her mind since Vander’s death in Arcane Season 2. She has put Zaun at war against the powerful Piltover city which will surely claim the lives of many people. Her actions have certainly strained her relationship with her sister, Vi. Also, we should not forget about The Hexacore. Jayce may use The Hexacore’s revolutionary technology against Jinx and the entire city of Zaun. Moreover, Silco’s absence will certainly break Zaun’s unity into pieces. Thanks to his drug Shimmer, he controlled almost the entire city. Residents of Zaun will certainly feel his absence, especially Jinx.
