Netflix’s next Indian Original film is slated to be Maddock Films’ ‘Murder Mubarak’. The streaming giant today dropped the first teaser for ‘Murder Mubarak, along with its release date. The murder mystery premieres on Netflix worldwide on 15th March, 2024.
Netflix’s Murder Mubarak is the official adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s latest novel,’ Club You To Death’. The movie boasts a splendid cast, featuring names like Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra and Suhail Nayyar. The film marks Karishma Kapoor’s return to movies after a long self-imposed hiatus.
As per Netflix, Murder Mubarak brings a “fresh twist to the mystery genre with a blend of suspense, comedy, and romance”. The movie is set in the backdrop of high-society Delhi. The ‘Murder Mubarak’ teaser shows Pankaj Tripathi as mild-mannered Delhi cop ACP Bhavani Singh. The rest of the stellar cast play likely suspects, unlikely allies and more, in the murder mystery.
Murder Mubarak is directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. The script is adapted from Anuja Chauhan’s novel by Gazal Dhaliwal and Suprotim Sengupta.
