Netflix’s expansion into the live sports territory continues. The streaming giant will air a boxing fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. The former is a globally prominent internet celebrity turned professional boxer whose prominence soared when he knocked out Nate Robinson, a former NBA player, on the undercard of Tyson’s exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.
The bout between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will take place on July 20, Saturday, at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. All Netflix subscribers will be able to watch this match.

Paul made his professional boxing debut in 2020. Since then, he has earned 9 wins (with 6 through knockouts) and 1 loss. Recently, he TKO-ed Ryan Bourland on March 2. On the other hand, we have Tyson, who is undoubtedly one of the most polarising figures in the world of professional boxing, with a sensational pro record of 50 wins (with 44 through knockouts) and 6 losses.
The newly announced match will be Netflix’s first attempt at streaming a combat sports event and its third live sporting event in total. The platform’s first venture into the field of live sports commenced with the popular golf tournament, The Netflix Cup. In addition, the streaming service recently aired a highly publicised tennis match between Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal through “The Netflix Slam”. Moreover, it will become the weekly home of World Wrestling Entertainment’s Monday Night Raw in 2025. Stay tuned for more updates.
