Scott Glass Gold and Harrison Query sold to Netflix ‘Three Musketeers’ last year. Netflix, this time, has made a low-seven-figure commitment between rights to the Matt Query’s short story ‘My Wife & I Bought a Ranch’ and scripting fees for Harrison Query to write the screenplay.

The slot follows a soldier and his wife, who bid all they can to buy their dream house in a ranch in Idaho. The couple, Harry and Sasha are successful in getting the house but there is a lot they don’t know about. They are informed by neighbors about the existence of a wicked spirit, an uninvited guest who finds shelter in one of the houses of the valley. To keep this vicious spirit out of their house, the couple will have to follow a few steps. Soon, the battle between Harry and phantom becomes personal, leading to violent and gruesome incidents. The story appears in six parts on reddit.

Reportedly, Scott Glassgold is producing under his banner Ground Control Entertainment. They are in talks with 21 Laps to become co-producers. 21 Laps is best known for ‘Stranger Things’ among other Netflix projects. Stay tuned for further updates on this horror action short story!
