Netflix & Gareth Evans’ Multi-Year Deal Kicks Off With Tom Hardy-Led ‘Havoc’

Netflix and Gareth Evans have signed an exclusive deal to produce and direct films for the next several years. The first feature film under this creative partnership will be ‘Havoc’ starring Tom Hardy (‘Venom’, ‘Dunkirk’, ‘The Revenant’) in the lead.

‘Havoc’ on Netflix will be written and directed by Evans (‘Gangs of London’, ‘Apostle’, ‘The Raid’). He will also produce it via One More One Productions alongside Ed Talfan for Severn Screen, Aram Tertzakian for XYZ Films and Tom Hardy.

The logline for ‘Havoc’ reads, “After a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.”

Evans is a multi-award winning Welsh film director, screenwriter, editor, and action choreographer who has earlier worked with Netflix, XYZ and Severn Screen on the 2018 horror/thriller ‘Apostle’ starring Dan Stevens, Michael Sheen and Kristine Froseth.

Further information about release date cast and crew of Gareth Evans’ ‘Havoc’ starring Tom Hardy are yet to be revealed by Netflix.
