Yip Yip! Netflix has greenlighted Seasons 2 and 3 of the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series. This update comes after the mixed reception of the newly released live-action series among critics and fans. Still, many fans believe that the show looks way better than the crappy 2010 film helmed by M. Night Shyamalan.

One of the primary reasons behind the streaming giant’s decision to renew The Last Airbender must be the series’ record-breaking viewership. The series is now the number one show on Netflix’s Global Top 10 (TV) list. As of March 3, it has been viewed by over 19.9 million viewers with over 144.2 million hours of viewing.
Multiple seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender are needed to reach the conclusion of the story of the four nations: Air, Water, Earth, and Fire.
Based on Nickelodeon’s animated series of the same name, Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender consists of eight episodes. Created by Albert Kim, the series stars Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Ken Leung, Daniel Dae Kim, and many more talents. All episodes are now available on Netflix. Stream them now!
