Netflix has given a go ahead for the production of its upcoming film ‘Badland Hunters’ starring Don Lee in the lead. Lee is well known for his roles in titles like ‘Train To Busan’, ‘The Roundup’ and Marvel’s ‘Eternals’.
‘Badland Hunters’ unfolds after a major earthquake transforms Seoul into an apocalyptic wasteland. The narrative delves deep into a world where mere survival becomes a luxury, allegiances are volatile, and human will is tested against nature’s harshest conditions.
Don Lee stars as Nam-san, a relentless wasteland hunter. Joining him are Lee Hee Jun as Yang Gi-su, the doctor who survived the catastrophe, and Lee Jun-young portraying Nam-san’s trusted partner, Choi ji-wan.
Directed by Heo Hyeong haeng, ‘Badland Hunters’ is already touted to be a blockbuster that will be nothing less than a virtual feast, marked by expansive apocalyptic landscapes and heart-pounding action sequences. The film promises not only a gripping story but also a cinematic extravaganza.
