In its latest announcement video Netflix has WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque revealing that from 1st April, 2025 onwards Netflix will become the exclusive new home for WWE in India.
This comes as part of Netflix’s long term partnership with the sports entertainment company and now Indian fans will get to see WWE’s weekly flagship shows – Raw, NXT, and SmackDown, alongside WWE’s Premium Live Events including SummerSlam, Money in the Bank, Royal Rumble and the upcoming WrestleMania.
Aided with live Hindi commentary and offering a blend of scripted and live content, this latest offering will feature serialised storytelling and high-adrenaline action three launching times a week (Raw, NXT, and SmackDown) for 52 weeks a year only in Netflix. There will also be new and exclusive archival content from the WWE vault available on Netflix to stream live or on demand.
Netflix is the exclusive home for WWE programming around the world, other than select international markets and it knows very well how big the Indian market is for WWE and with this latest offering it is bound to get a boost.
