So the record-making or breaking title that we were talking about is, of course, Jaane Jaan. Kareena Kapoor’s OTT debut is a mammoth success and a success that Netflix India has never seen before.
No film in its debut week could earn such a high number of views and looks like people loved it all the way. Of course, films like this can’t keep coming every month, but once in a while, it is good to see new records being created.
However, another Netflix India film that again broke the record of one of the least watched films was Friday Night Plan. The movie failed to grab any eyeballs as it remained one of the least-watched movies among September releases.
The two Telugu fiascos were Bhola Shankar and Ramabanam. Both the movies were a troll fest in the theaters and they are troll fest on Netflix as well.
Choona is an original series that was released on the 29th of September. It is too early to give a verdict on the reception of the series but the reviews don’t look very promising.
Overall, Netflix India deserves a solid 7 out of 10 for September all because of Jaane Jaan.
