Netflix India’s Top 10 Films and Series to Watch in the 22nd Feb Week!

Netflix India has increased its reservoir of content regularly and also keeps coming up with some really interesting originals so here is a quick summary of all the titles that are in Netflix India’s Top 10 this week.

Pitta Kathalu:
Pitta Kathalu is a Telugu language Netflix anthology film that consists of 4 short films that are all directed by different filmmakers. These 4 stories tackle the darker side of love and the limits to which people are willing to go for it. Right from secrets to lies to jealousy and control, everything is portrayed in this anthology film.

I Care a Lot:
Rosamund Pike returns for another shady role but this time she finds herself in a comedy-drama. ‘I care a Lot’ on Netflix. A legal guardian falls into a lot of trouble when she tries to cheat a woman who has ties with powerful gangsters and things take a turn for the worse as the story progresses.

To All the Boys: Always and Forever:
This film has been consistent in Netflix India’s top 10 and the 3rd instalment in the ‘To All the Boys’ trilogy. Lara Jean returns from a family trip to Korea and has to think about her plans for college as she is in her senior year of school. Will she be able to make it into a college with Peter or will they have to be away from each other?

Love:
Love takes a look at the inner workings of what a toxic relationship can actually do to people. These traits manifest themselves in surprising ways as all the angst and frustration comes out when after one of the feuds between the couples spills out of control. It takes a lot of emotional and mental strength to be together in a toxic relationship and it can affect us in mysterious ways at times.

Seventh Son:
This movie on Netflix India is set in the mystical world of the 18th century where there is a glorious battle between supernatural forces of good and evil. Tom Ward who is an apprentice exorcist plays a pivotal part in this battle between good and bad when Mother Malkin escapes.

The White Tiger:
The White Tiger continues to stay in the Top 10 of Netflix India ever since its release and its several lists of international nominations go to show that Indian titles can give international titles a run for their money. Balram is a driver who comes from a very humble background but overcomes several obstacles in his path to become a well-respected entrepreneur.

Jurassic World:
The Jurassic park universe is carried forward by ‘Jurassic World’ where the owners of a dinosaur theme park are trying to attract more and more tourists with trilling new exhibits but things are not that simple as a deadly creature breaks loose and everything turns to chaos as they are in a race against time and the deadly creature to stop them from inflicting further damage.

365 Days:
This title is probably one that posses the most explicit content in Netflix India’s Top 10. A woman becomes the victim of a dominant mafia boss who has captured her and the catch is that he gives her a year to fall in love with him. Will she eventually fall for the gangster or will this sinister tale take another turn?

The Jackal:
The jackal is a ruthless man who is on a mission fuelled by revenge. He is hired by the Russian mafia and has to stay safe from the people that are looking to hunt him down. His main motive is to avenge an FBI sting operation that took away the life of his brother.

Ludo:
4 stories with different themes seem to overlap together as fate and chance make them intertwined with each other. It has everything right from a bag of cash, a kidnapping, a sex tape which resurfaces, and an eccentric killer who has his own unique philosophy on life.

Behind her Eyes:
Behind her eyes has created a lot of buzz in recent times and this mind-bending series finds its way to the summit of the Top 10 Netflix series for India. A single mother enters a notorious world where she starts to have an affair with her psychiatric boss while befriending his wife. The mind games take a toll on everyone as secrets are slowly unraveled.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine:
Brooklyn Nine-Nine has garnered a sort of cult status over time and the news of Season 8 being the last one has certainly hit the fans of the show pretty hard. Watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Jake Peralta and his buddies at the 99th Precinct catch the bad guys in style but also have to deal with their personal issues albeit in a funny manner.

Money Heist:
Money Heist certainly needs no introduction as it finds itself in Netflix India’s Top 10 yet again. This Netflix series revolves around a bunch of criminals who have been recruited by an elite mastermind who calls himself ‘The Professor’. Together these bunch of robbers plan on undertaking the most audacious heist in history but everyone has their own demons which have to be fought.

Friends:
Friends has been the perfect stress buster for ages as it still has the charm that it did decades ago. This series has created good memories for many of its viewers as it revolves around the life of a group of friends who come together at a coffee shop and discuss all their problems and joy’s in life. It really shows us that true friends will always have your back no matter what.

The Big Day:
The Big Day just shows Netflix India’s craze for the big Indian wedding as this show takes us behind the scenes of what goes into making some of the biggest weddings come true on a humongous scale. Every detail has to be meticulously looked after and things have to be put in order for the smooth functioning of a grand wedding.

Tribes of Europa:
Tribes of Europa is a Netflix series that is set in a futuristic world. In the year 2070, a global catastrophe has divided Europe into several microstates that are fighting for their dominance over each other. Amid this battle, three siblings set out to change the fate of Europe.

Bridgerton:
The eight siblings of the powerful family of Bridgerton try to find love in a tumultuous atmosphere as everyone has their ulterior motives and is trying their best to climb their way into the world of the elite and wealthy. This show is created against the backdrop of the regency era in England and captures its true essence.

Vincenzo:
Vincenzo is a Korean series when a Korean Italian mafia lawyer returns to his motherland. He sees a Conglomerate and decides to give them a taste of their own medicine as he imparts his brand of justice on them. He is pitted against an attorney who will go to any length to save her client.

The Blacklist:
The Blacklist on Netflix revolves around a wanted fugitive who is willing to give himself up to the law which is very surprising but he has a single condition that he will work only with the new recruit Elizabeth Keen.

Firefly Lane:
Firefly Lane is a series on Netflix that talks about the special bond of friendship that has lasted for three decades. Tully and Kate have been friends for 30 years now and have been inseparable throughout these years as they have been beside each other through thick and thin.
