For Netflix India’s top ten films list, the top spot has been bagged by Zoya Akhtar’s period comedy drama ‘The Archies’. And the second and the third spots have been bagged by the female led road trip movie ‘Dhak Dhak’ and the period action flick ‘Jigarthanda DoubleX’.
On the Netflix top ten TV shows front, this week’s top spot has been secured by the intense survival drama ‘The Railway Men’, which is based on the1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy. While on the second and third spots of the Netflix list are the K-drama ‘My Demon’ followed by the action-comedy series ‘Obliterated’.

10. Jawan
The movie’s basic plot follows a man (Shah Rukh Khan), who wants to rectify the wrongs in the society and forms a team of fearless women who were victims of the system. On his trail is a relentless cop who wants to catch him at any cost. While dealing with a merciless arms dealer, the vigilante gets help from an unlikely ally.
9. Leo (Hindi)
Lokesh Kanagraj’s action thriller movie follows a mild-mannered café owner Leo (played by Vijay), who becomes a hero overnight after a fight with a bunch of criminals. But the incident brings back his dark past, which threatens to destroy his happy family.
8. Jigarthanda DoubleX (Telugu)
The film’s story is set in the 1970s period and follows an infamous Madurai-based gangster (Raghava Lawrence), who is a diehard fan of Clint Eastwood. He crosses paths with a filmmaker (SJ Suryah), who agrees to make a movie with the gangster.
7. The Equalizer 3
The third instalment of ‘The Equalizer’ action thriller film series features Denzel Washington as the highly trained former CIA Black Ops turned vigilante, who tries to protect his new friends from the dangerous Sicilian mafia in Southern Italy after surviving a deadly gunshot.
6. Leave the World Behind
The mystery sci-fi movie tells the story of two couples and their kids, who must deal with a possible apocalypse during a weekend getaway in a luxurious rented place. It features Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, Mahershala Ali, Myha’la, and Kevin Bacon, amongst others.
5. Thank You for Coming
Helmed by Karan Boolani, it follows the story of a Delhi-based food blogger Kanika (played by Bhumi Pednekar), who has never had an orgasm, until it happens one night. But the problem is that she can’t remember that person.
4. Mission Raniganj
The survival thriller movie starring Akshay Kumar follows the story of a brilliant IIT engineer who devises a plan to rescue a large group of miners trapped in the Raniganj coalfields.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the musical comedy movie is set during the 1960s period in the fictional hilly town of Riverdale. The film’s story will explore the themes of friendship, romantic relationships and their ups and downs which happen in the lives of the comic book characters we grew up with: Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton.

3. Obliterated
The action-comedy series follows an elite special forces team, who must come back into senses following a night of hard partying after they learn that the bomb they neutralized last night was fake. They must now race against time to deal with the real situation.
2. My Demon
The Korean supernatural romantic comedy series follows a cold and arrogant heiress, who enters into a contractual marriage with a demon, who desperately wants to get back his powers.
1. The Railway Men
Set against the backdrop of the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy, the web series revolves around the courageous efforts of a group of railway workers, who try their best to save lives after the unfortunate incident. It features R. Madhavan, Kay Key Menon, Divyenndu, and Babil Khan, amongst others.
