Netflix India’s Top 10 Films & Series to Watch in the 25th December Week

For Netflix India’s top ten films list, the top spot has been bagged by the social thriller ‘Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video’. And the second and the third spots have been bagged by the hard-hitting true crime documentary ‘Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case’ and the action-drama flick ‘Aadikeshava’.

On the Netflix top ten TV shows front, this week’s top spot has once again been secured by the intense survival drama ‘The Railway Men’, which is based on the1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy. While on the second and third spots of the Netflix list are the K-drama ‘My Demon’ followed by the Korean horror drama ‘Gyeong Seong Creature’, respectively.

10. Leo (Hindi)
Lokesh Kanagraj’s action thriller movie follows a mild-mannered café owner Leo (played by Vijay), who becomes a hero overnight after a fight with a bunch of criminals. But the incident brings back his dark past, which threatens to destroy his happy family.

9. Jawan
The movie’s basic plot follows a man (Shah Rukh Khan), who wants to rectify the wrongs in the society and forms a team of fearless women who were victims of the system. On his trail is a relentless cop who wants to catch him at any cost. While dealing with a merciless arms dealer, the vigilante gets help from an unlikely ally.

8. Mission Raniganj
The survival thriller movie starring Akshay Kumar follows the story of a brilliant IIT engineer who devises a plan to rescue a large group of miners trapped in the Raniganj coalfields.

7. Dhak Dhak
The movie follows the story of four ordinary women (played by Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanjana Sanghi), who decide to go on an adventurous road trip on the highest motorable road. And during this journey of a lifetime, the women find a new meaning in their lives.

6. Aquaman
Helmed by James Wan, this DCEU superhero movie features Jason Momoa in the titular role of half-Atlantean, half-human Arthur Curry/Aquaman who sets out to challenge his half-brother Orm from executing his nefarious plan of waging war against the surface world.

5. Top Gun: Maverick
Helmed by Joseph Kosinski, the movie is set thirty years after the events of the 1986 parent film ‘Top Gun’. Tom Cruise is now a brave test pilot and a flight instructor. He trains a batch of Top Gun graduates for a special mission where he meets pilot trainee Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Miller), who is the son of Maverick’s best friend and former naval flight officer Nick ‘Goose’ Bradshaw.

4. Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child Of Fire
Directed by Zack Snyder, the sci-fi film revolves around a far-off peaceful colony bordering the galaxy. The colony is endangered by the presence of a tyrannical regent. As a result, the residents are forced to send a young mysterious woman on a mission in order to find warriors from nearby planets to defend themselves.

3. Aadikeshava
The action-drama movie follows the story of a man (Panja Vaishnav Tej), who comes to know about the death of his biological father and circumstances force him to take on a ruthless criminal.

2. Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case
The true crime documentary film focuses on unexpected deaths which took place over a period of fourteen years. And the connecting link between them is a loved woman named Jolly Joseph.

1. Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video
The social thriller movie features Radhika Madan (Pataakha, Angrezi Medium) in the titular role of a physics teacher who works at a well-known school in Pune. But after a video goes viral online, she leaves a suicide note and goes missing after that. The case is handled by an inspector (Nimrat Kaur), who begins to investigate the mysterious disappearance.

The Arabic reality series focuses on a group of affluent Arab millionaires from different fields and their lavish lifestyles in the city of bling.

9. Bard of Blood
This spy thriller series is based on Bilal Siddiqui’s book. It follows the daredevil adventures of a former RAW agent Kabir Anand (Emran Hashmi), who must rely on his very skills and deal with his dark past during a hostage rescue mission in Balochistan. It also features Vineet Kumar Singh, Sobita Dhulipala, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Rajit Kapoor in important roles.

8. Kaala Paani
The survival drama series focuses on a mysterious illness which happens in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and how multiple characters who get stranded there desperately try to deal with the situation. It features Mona Singh, Ashutosh Gowariker, and Sukant Goel in important roles.

7. Trevor Noah: Where Was I
The stand-up comedy special features popular comedian Trevor Noah as he talks about an amusing sightseeing incident in Germany, etc.

6. My Life With the Walter Boys
The ten-part romantic drama series follows a teenage girl, whose life takes a drastic turn after her parents die in an accident. After that, she relocates to a rural Colorado and how she adjusts to a totally different life in a large family forms the show’s crux.

5. Obliterated
The action-comedy series follows an elite special forces team, who must come back into senses following a night of hard partying after they learn that the bomb they neutralized last night was fake. They must now race against time to deal with the real situation.

4. Yu Yu Hakusho
Based on the manga series of the same name, the live-action Japanese series revolves around a high school student, who gets killed in an accident while trying to save a child and is brought back to life as an investigator of supernatural elements.

3. Gyeong Seong Creature
The Korean horror drama web series in 1940s Seoul and revolves around a businessman and a detective who fight against a mysterious creature born out of greed.

The Korean supernatural romantic comedy series follows a cold and arrogant heiress, who enters into a contractual marriage with a demon, who desperately wants to get back his powers.

1. The Railway Men
Set against the backdrop of the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy, the web series revolves around the courageous efforts of a group of railway workers, who try their best to save lives after the unfortunate incident. It features R. Madhavan, Kay Key Menon, Divyenndu, and Babil Khan, amongst others.
