For Netflix India’s top ten films list, the top-ranked title has been bagged by the Hollywood comedy movie ‘Me Time’ starring Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg. While on the second and the third spots of the Netflix list are Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga’ starring Pankaj Tripathi and the dark comedy movie ‘Darlings’ starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, and Vijay Verma in the lead roles.
On the Netflix top ten TV shows front, this week’s top spot has been bagged by the Emmy Award-winning police procedural show ‘Delhi Crime’ starring Shefali Shah followed by the high-school comedy drama series ‘Never Have I Ever’ and the fantasy drama ‘The Sandman’.

TOP 10 MOVIES ON NETFLIX INDIA THIS WEEK
10. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
Directed by Anees Bazmee, the comedy-horror flick is a standalone sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2007 film starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. The sequel features Kartik Aaryan as Ruhan, who meets a woman named Reet during a trip. Their chance encounter leads them to a haunted mansion in Rajasthan following which Ruhan poses as a psychic, leading to an interesting turn of events.
9. RRR (Hindi)
Helmed by S.S Rajamouli, the blockbuster period action movie ‘RRR’ features Ram Charan and Jr.NTR in the lead roles and Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. The film is a fictional tale set in the 1920s that revolves around two legendary Indian revolutionaries namely Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr. NTR).
8. Nikamma
The action-comedy movie features Abhimanyu Dassani in the role of Adi, an unemployed youth who realizes that his strict sister-in-law Avni (Shilpa Shetty) has always cared for him. That’s when he decides to protect her from a powerful businessman Vikramjeet (Abhimanyu Singh), who wants to get Avni killed.
7. The Mummy
The fantasy action-adventure movie features Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise as Nick Morton, a soldier of fortune who unintentionally awakens an Egyptian princess from an ancient tomb in a Middle East desert. Now, it’s up to Nick to stop the wronged princess from unleashing her fury in present day London.
6. Jaadugar
Directed by Sameer Saxena, the film revolves around a small-time struggling magician named Magic Meenu (played by Jitendra Kumar), who lives in Neemuch town in MP. Despite no interest in sports, Meenu must now lead a down and out football team and win the coveted inter-colony football tournament – in order to marry his love interest (Arushi Sharma). The movie also features Jaaved Jaafery in an important role of a sports coach.
5. The Next 365 Days
The film is a sequel to the 2020 Polish romantic thriller ‘365 Days’ and its follow-up film ‘365 Days: This Day’. Michele Morrone and Anna-Maria Sieklucka reprise their roles as Massimo and Laura. The plot revolves around the duo’s evolving relationship while trying to overcome their trust issues.
4. Shabaash Mithu
The film is a biopic based on the inspiring life story of former women’s Indian National cricket team captain Mithali Raj, who had led India to the finals of the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup. Taapsee Pannu has essayed the titular role in the film directed by Srijit Mukherji. The movie also features Vijay Raaz as Mithali Raj’s mentor/guide and Mumtaz Sorcar as Jhulan Goswami, amongst other cast members.
3. Darlings
‘Darlings’ is a black comedy film that revolves around a mother-daughter duo (played by Shefali Shah and Alia Bhatt) that is set against the backdrop of a conservative and lower-middle-class Mumbai neighbourhood. The story is about how Alia Bhatt’s character Badru thinks that her husband (Vijay Varma) will change after he stops his drinking habit. But when things go out of control, both these women set out to exact revenge in their own amateurish way.
2. Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga
Inspired by true events and helmed by Srijit Mukherji, the film follows a village head Gangaram (Pankaj Tripathi), who makes a desperate and brave plan to sacrifice his own life by offering himself to a Tiger. Then, by using his remains, the villagers can claim hefty compensation from the government. On the way, he crosses paths with a poacher (Neeraj Kabi). Whether or not he finally meets a Tiger and will his plan succeed, forms the film’s basic plotline.
1. Me Time
The comedy film narrates the story of a devoted family man who, after many years, finally finds some time for himself when his wife and children are away for a few days. He takes the golden opportunity to reconnect with his former close friend and together they have a blast during a wild and adventurous weekend.

9. Partner Track
The ten-part series focuses on a young and principled lawyer Ingrid Yun (played by Adren Cho), who deals with corporate ethics as she fights to make partner in a reputed New York City law firm.
8. Locke & Key
It’s a supernatural mystery-horror show that revolves around the three Locke siblings who relocate to their ancestral home along with their mother after the mysterious death of their father. They soon find many magical keys inside the house which they think are somehow related to their father’s death.
7. Manifest
The mystery sci-fi series revolves around a group of passengers who somehow safely land after a turbulent flight. However, they soon learn that five years have already passed mysteriously in such a short time and the world has moved on after assuming that they were gone forever. They soon realize that their second chance is meant for something greater.
6. Alchemy of Souls
The South Korean series is set in a fictional region Daeho where mages can use the titular magic spell ‘Alchemy of Souls’ to switch bodies. The story follows an elite warrior Nak-su (Jung So-min), who gets trapped inside the body of a blind woman and helps a man (Lee Jae-wook) from a noble family to change his fate.
5. Stranger Things
The latest season of the sci-fi horror series follows the aftereffects of the devastating Battle of Starcourt at the Hawkins town in Indiana. The show’s young protagonists are now living separately and trying to move on in their lives. At this juncture, a long-buried, supernatural threat that connects everything, emerges on Earth and the Upside Down. The fourth season’s first volume comprising seven episodes was released on 27th May while the second volume with two episodes came out on 1st July.
4. Extraordinary Attorney Woo
The South Korean series follows the story of a young lawyer Woo Young-woo (played by Park Eun-bin), who is on the autism spectrum but is blessed with high IQ and a razor-sharp memory. The plot revolves around how she deals with life inside the courtroom and the law firm she works for while also dealing with various challenges that life throws at her.
3. The Sandman
Based on Neil Gaiman’s comic book of the same name, the fantasy drama series follows the story of the king of Dreams – Dream / Morpheus (Tom Sturridge), who escapes from his more than 100 years of captivity and makes it his mission to reclaim what was lost to him and to regain his power.

The high-school comedy drama series revolves around the life of Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), an Indian American teenage girl and focuses on her relationships with friends and her romantic interests.

International Emmy Award-winning show features Shefali Shah as senior cop DCP Vartika Chaturvedi alongside proficient actors like Rajesh Tailang (Mirzapur, Selection Day), Rasika Dugal (Mirzapur, Out of Love) and Adil Hussain (English Vinglish, Agent Vinod), amongst others. The first season revolved around the police investigation to nab the culprits responsible for the despicable gang rape that happened in the capital city. The second season follows a fictionalized take on a true crime that follows the cop’s new case which revolves around the killings of several senior citizens in the capital city by a brutal gang of killers.
