Netflix India’s Top 10 Films & Series to Watch in the 29th January Week

For Netflix India’s top ten films list, the top spot has been bagged by Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s gangster action flick ‘Animal’ starring Ranbir Kapoor. While the second and the third spots have been secured by the The Korean actioner ‘Badland Hunters’ and Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar’ starring Prabhas in the lead role, respectively.

On the Netflix top ten TV shows front, this week’s top spot has been secured by the dark comedy crime show ‘Killer Soup’ starring Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sen Sharma in the lead roles. While on the second and third spots of the Netflix list are the crime drama ‘Griselda’ followed by the ‘Money Heist’ spin-off ‘Berlin’.

TOP 10 MOVIES ON NETFLIX INDIA THIS WEEK

10. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan
The romantic drama movie features Adarsh Gaurav, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ananya Pandey in the roles of three best friends who navigate their lives and relationships in the city of Mumbai.

9. Sixty Minutes
The German sports drama movie follows the story of a mixed martial arts fighter, who races against time to reach his daughter’s birthday on time to keep her custody. But in doing that, he ditches a big match and that makes him some dangerous enemies.

8. Society of the Snow
The film narrates the incredible tale of the survivors of the 1972 plane crash which happened in the Andes while transporting a Rugby team to Chile. How these passengers hoped against all odds and fought for their lives while navigating their way back home, forms the film’s crux.

7. Hi Nanna
The family drama movie follows the story of a photographer (Nani), who is trying to deal with a fatal medical condition of his daughter (Kiara Khanna). The story takes an interesting turn when a woman (Mrunal Thakur) enters their lives.

6. Salaar (Tamil)
Helmed by Prashanth Neel, the film’s basic plot follows Deva (Prabhas), who works as a mechanic in a remote place. After his friend Vardha (Prithviraj) is about to be made his father’s successor, it leads to a coup. After that, Vardha calls for the help of his old friend Deva, leading to a violent chain of events.

5. Hi Papa (Hindi)

Helmed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy, the underlying plot of the gangster action drama ‘Animal’ revolves around a complicated father-son relationship (played by Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor) and how the son transforms into a violent psychopath. It also features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and Bobby Deol as the antagonist.

10. Masters of the Universe: Revolution
The animated action series follows the daredevil adventures of He-Man and how he fights with other masters against his formidable foe Skeletor to save Eternia.

9. Khakee: The Bihar Chapter
Neeraj Pandey’s crime action-drama series revolves around the violent face-off between an upright super-cop and a dreaded criminal amidst the backdrop of chaos, violent and rampant corruption. It features an ensemble cast that includes Karan Tacker, Avinash Tiwari, Abhimanyu Singh, Ravi Kishan, Ashutosh Rana, and Anup Soni, amongst others.

8. American Nightmare
The three-part docuseries which focuses on the much-publicized home invasion and kidnapping story which happened in the year 2015 where a couple was accused of staging the ordeal.

7. My Demon
The Korean supernatural romantic comedy series follows a cold and arrogant heiress, who enters into a contractual marriage with a demon, who desperately wants to get back his powers.

6. Fool Me Once
Based on Harlan Coben’s book of the same name, the British thriller follows a widowed former soldier, whose life takes a deadly turn after she watches the footage of her husband’s murder on a security camera.

5. The Railway Men
Set against the backdrop of the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy, the web series revolves around the courageous efforts of a group of railway workers, who try their best to save lives after the unfortunate incident. It features R. Madhavan, Kay Key Menon, Divyenndu, and Babil Khan, amongst others.

4. Doctor Slump
The K-drama follows the story of two former school rivals and now excellent doctors, who find comfort in other’s company after going through their worst phases in their lives.

3. Berlin
The ‘Money Heist’ prequel spin-off series follows the terminally ill titular character Berlin (Pedro Alonso) and he planned and executed a mind-blowing plan to steal jewels worth a whopping 44 million euros in just a single night.

2. Griselda
The crime drama series is a fictional take which focuses on the infamous Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco (played by Sofia Vergara), which operated in the 1980s in Miami.

1. Killer Soup
The show’s basic plot revolves around a woman (Konkona Sensharma), an amateurish cook who aspires to own a restaurant. But her husband Prabhakaran (Manoj Bajpayee) does not support her wife’s wishes and is suspicious of her. Later, she gets an opportunity to fulfil her dreams and she hatches an intricate plan.
