For Netflix India’s top ten films list, the top-ranked title has been bagged by the romantic comedy movie ‘Krishna Vrinda Vihari’. While on the second and the third spots of the Netflix list are Anurag Kashyap’s mind-bending mystery drama ‘Dobaaraa’ starring Taapsee Pannu and the fantasy comedy movie ‘The School for Good and Evil’.
On the Netflix top ten TV shows front, this week’s top spot has been bagged by the rom-com ‘Mismatched’ followed by the true crime docuseries ‘Indian Predator: Murder in a Courtroom’ and the Arabic reality series ‘Dubai Bling’.

TOP 10 MOVIES ON NETFLIX INDIA THIS WEEK
10. RRR (Hindi)
Helmed by S.S Rajamouli, the period action movie ‘RRR’ features Ram Charan and Jr.NTR in the lead roles and Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. The film is a fictional tale set in the 1920s that revolves around two legendary Indian revolutionaries namely Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr. NTR).
9. HIT: The First Case
Helmed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film’s plot revolves around an astute police officer of the titular Homicide Intervention Team aka HIT who makes it his mission to find a missing woman which will help him solve the disappearance case of his lover. The mystery thriller features Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles.
8. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
Directed by Anees Bazmee, the comedy-horror flick is a standalone sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2007 film starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. The sequel features Kartik Aaryan as Ruhan, who meets a woman named Reet during a trip. Their chance encounter leads them to a haunted mansion in Rajasthan following which Ruhan poses as a psychic, leading to an interesting turn of events.
7. 20th Century Girl
Set in the year 1999, the South Korean romantic drama movie follows a high school student Na Bo-ra (played by Kim Yoo-jung), who experiences the magic of first love while trying to know about her best friend’s crush Baek Hyun-jin (Park Jung-woo).
6. The Good Nurse
Based on Charles Graeber’s 2013 book of the same name, the crime thriller movie features Jessica Chastain as a devoted and overburdened nurse and single mother Amy, who finds relief after the arrival of a new nurse Charles Cullen (Eddie Redmayne) at the hospital. But after a series of unexpected patient deaths, the new nurse becomes a suspect for these mysterious deaths.
5. All Quiet on the Western Front
Based on German novelist Erich Maria Remarque’s 1929 book of the same name, the anti-war movie follows the story of a young German soldier Paul Bäumer (Felix Kammerer), who begins to understand the brutal life in the trenches during World War-I.
4. Laal Singh Chaddha
Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is an official remake of Robert Zemeckis’ Oscar-winning movie ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks. It features Aamir Khan in the titular role of a good-hearted man with a subpar IQ. How the protagonist inadvertently becomes a part of important events and how he progresses in life through a simple-minded and uncomplicated approach forms the film’s underlying plot line. The movie also features Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, Manav Vij, and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.
3. The School for Good and Evil
Based on Soman Chainani’s 2013 novel of the same name, the fantasy comedy film revolves around best friends Sophie and Agatha, who are taken to the magical School of Good and Evil where their friendship is put under test.
2. Dobaaraa
Helmed by Anurag Kashyap, the mystery thriller movie is a time-bending drama starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. Inspired by Oriol Paulo’s ‘Mirage’, the film’s premise revolves around two similar storms separated by 25 years and how a woman connects with a 12-year-old boy from the past through a television set.
1. Krishna Vrinda Vihari
Directed by Anish R Krishna, the romantic comedy movie features Naga Shaurya in the role of Krishna Chari, who belongs to a traditional Brahmin family. He falls in love with a woman named Vrinda (Shirley Setia) and how he marries her and tries to convince his family forms the film’s crux.

10. Stranger Things
The initial story, set in the 1980s, revolves around a young boy’s disappearance and the ensuing investigation by his mother, police chief, and his friends amidst supernatural events. The sci-fi horror series (latest season) follows the aftereffects of the devastating Battle of Starcourt at the Hawkins town in Indiana. The show’s young protagonists are now living separately and trying to move on in their lives. At this juncture, a long-buried, supernatural threat that connects everything, emerges on Earth and the Upside Down.
9. Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story
The crime drama series revolves around the notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer aka Milwaukee Monster (played by Evan Peters) and is narrated from the perspective of the killer’s victims. The show focuses on how incompetence and leniency by the authorities and how Dahmer got away on multiple occasions.

The South Korean series revolves around the romantic relationship between a brilliant PR head Oh Han-byul and a much-loved, top notch star Gong Tae-sung with a dark past.
7. The Watcher
The crime thriller miniseries revolves around a married couple (played by Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale), who relocate into their dream home in New Jersey. But their seemingly heavenly abode becomes their nightmare after they become the targets of a stalker named The Watcher.
6. The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself
Based on Sally Green’s ‘Half Bad’ novel trilogy, the fantasy series follows a 16-year-old boy named Nathan, who is the son of a powerful and dangerous witch responsible for a ruthless massacre and how he tries to find his own place in the world.
5. Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega
‘Jamtara’ is set in the Jamtara region of the Eastern Indian State of Jharkhand. The premise is about a group of small-town and ambitious youngsters led by the protagonists Rocky (Anshuman Pushkar) and Sunny (Sparsh Shrivastava) who are the brains behind a profitable social engineering phishing operation.
