Netflix India’s Top 10 Films & Series to Watch in the 6th February Week

For Netflix India’s top ten films list, the top-ranked title has been bagged by Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta starrer ‘Vadh’ followed by Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest film ‘An Action Hero’ co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat and the Sidharth Malhotra starrer spy thriller ‘Mission Majnu’.

On the Netflix top ten TV shows front, this week’s top spot has been bagged by the crime thriller show ‘Class’, which is based on the hit Spanish series ‘Elite’. While on the second and the third spots of the Netflix list are the massively popular horror comedy series ‘Wednesday’ and the British supernatural thriller show ‘Lockwood & Co.’, respectively.

10. The Invitation

The horror movie follows a freelance caterer Evie (Nathalie Emmanuel), who undergoes a DNA test and discovers that she has a cousin which she wasn’t even aware of. She accepts an invitation to an extravagant wedding function but soon she realizes that there is something sinister about the seemingly generous hosts.

9. Kantara (Hindi)

The man vs nature centric film has been written and directed by and features actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty. The film is set in the fictional village of Kantara and follows the story of a hot-headed henchman named Shiva (Rishab Shetty). When a forest officer Murali (Kishore) tries to stop the local superstitions in the village and save the forest from the residents, Shiva locks horns with Murali with support from his landlord (Achyuth Kumar).

8. Dhamaka

The action-comedy movie features Ravi Teja in the dual role of a super-rich businessman Anand and his doppelganger – an impoverished slum dweller Swami. The plot takes an interesting turn when a woman named Pranavi (Sreeleela) falls in love with both of these men.

7. Viking Wolf

In the Norwegian horror thriller movie, after relocating to a small new place, a teenage girl Thale witnesses a brutal murder at a party. But after the incident, she begins to experience strange visions and unusual desires.

6. Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins

The superhero action flick features Henry Golding in the role of the titular character Snake Eyes, a lone fighter who is enlisted by an ancient Japanese clan. After relocating to Japan, he gets a home and is taught the ways of a ninja warrior.

5. 18 Pages

The romantic drama movie follows an application developer named Sidhu, who goes into depression after he learns about his girlfriend’s disloyalty. That’s when he gets hold of a diary written by a woman named Nandhini and he begins to fall in love with her.

4. Raangi

The action thriller movie stars Trisha as a Chennai-based online news reporter, who is used as bait by the FBI in order to track and bring into their custody a Libyan boy named Aalim.

3. Mission Majnu

Helmed by Shantanu Bagchi and set in the 1970s period, it’s a spy thriller movie that revolves around an undercover R&AW field agent Amandeep Singh (Sidharth Malhotra), who must expose a secret nuclear weapons operation right in the middle of Pakistan. It also features Rashmika Mandanna as the protagonist’s love interest.

2. An Action Hero

The action-drama movie features Ayushmann Khurrana as a Bollywood superstar and action hero Maanav, whose glamorous life takes a drastic turn after the accidental death of the brother of a Municipal Councillor (Jaideep Ahlawat) in Haryana.

1. Vadh

The film’s an old, middle-class couple (played by Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta), whose lives take a turn after their son decides to go to America for further studies. After an unfortunate incident, the debt-ridden duo must now face the wrath of a dangerous goon and deal with cops.

10. Physical: 100

The reality series features one hundred physically super fit group of men and women who compete with each other in some tough challenges and the last one standing will win a big cash prize.

9. Fauda

Set against the backdrop of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Israeli series features Lior Raz in the lead role of Doron, a daredevil agent of the elite Israel Defence Force unit and his dangerous missions to protect his country.

8. Crash Course in Romance

The South Korean romantic comedy series revolves around the romantic relationship between a former athlete and grocery store owner Nam Haeng-Sun and a wealthy and popular math instructor Choi Chi-Yeol.

7. Chainsaw Man

The anime series revolves around a teenage boy named Denji, who is struggling to repay his deceased father’s debts. But after Denji is betrayed and is left for dead, he is reborn as a devil human hybrid and comes back as the Chainsaw Man to hunt powerful devils.

6. Ginny & Georgia

The ten-part comedy drama series revolves around a fifteen-year-old teenager named Ginny (Antonia Gentry), who is portrayed as more sensible and mature than her dynamic mother Georgia (Brianne Howey).

5. Khakee: The Bihar Chapter

Neeraj Pandey’s crime action-drama series revolves around the violent face-off between an upright super-cop and a dreaded criminal amidst the backdrop of chaos, violent and rampant corruption. It features an ensemble cast that includes Karan Tacker, Avinash Tiwari, Abhimanyu Singh, Ravi Kishan, Ashutosh Rana, and Anup Soni, amongst others.

4. New Amsterdam

The medical drama series features Ryan Eggold as Dr. Max Goodwin, who is recruited as the new medical director to turnaround the functioning and restore the lost glory of one of America’s oldest public hospitals.

3. Lockwood & Co.

Based on Jonathan Stroud’s book series bearing the same name, the British supernatural thriller series follows three teenage ghost hunters, who team up together to fight deadly paranormal forces.

2. Wednesday

The horror comedy series focuses on The Addams Family character named Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega). The story is about how the titular protagonist, a gothic teenage girl, hones her psychic abilities and attempts to investigate a series of brutal killings.

1. Class

Based on the hit Spanish show ‘Elite’, the show’s story follows three poor scholarship students who join a posh Delhi school. But soon, they must deal with an unanticipated turn of events while facing class divide amongst other problems.
