Netflix India’s Top 10 Films & Series to Watch in the 8th January Week

For Netflix India’s top ten films list, the top spot has been bagged by the family drama movie ‘Hi Nanna’ starring Nani and Mrunal Thakur. And the second and the third spots have been bagged by Nayanthara’s ‘Annapoorani’ followed by the Hindi version of ‘Hi Nanna’.

On the Netflix top ten TV shows front, this week’s top spot has been secured by the ‘Money Heist’ spin-off ‘Berlin’. While on the second and third spots of the Netflix list are the the British thriller ‘Fool Me Once’ and the intense survival drama ‘The Railway Men’, which is based on the1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy.

10. Three of Us
The film features Shefali Shah in the role of a middle-aged woman diagnosed with retrograde amnesia. Before she begins to lose her memories, she decides to visit her native village accompanied by her husband where she must deal with her traumatic past and her childhood lover.

9. Shastry Viruddh Shastry
The family drama movie revolves around a seven-year-old boy, who lives with his grandparents (Paresh Rawal and Neena Kulkarni) in Panchgani. The boy’s parents, who live in Mumbai, visit their child during the weekends. But the story takes a serious turn when the boy’s father gets a chance to work abroad, and it creates a rift between the boy’s parents and grandparents owing to the child’s custody.

The family drama movie follows the story of a photographer (Nani), who is trying to deal with a fatal medical condition of his daughter (Kiara Khanna). The story takes an interesting turn when a woman (Mrunal Thakur) enters their lives.

7. Society of the Snow
The Spanish survival thriller narrates the incredible tale of the survivors of the 1972 plane crash which happened in the Andes. How these passengers hope against all odds and fight for their lives forms the film’s crux.

The true crime documentary film focuses on unexpected deaths which took place over a period of fourteen years. And the connecting link between them is a loved woman named Jolly Joseph.

5. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan
The romantic drama movie features Adarsh Gaurav, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ananya Pandey in the roles of three best friends who navigate their lives and relationships in the city of Mumbai.

4. Conjuring Kannappan

Set against the backdrop of the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy, the web series revolves around the courageous efforts of a group of railway workers, who try their best to save lives after the unfortunate incident. It features R. Madhavan, Kay Key Menon, Divyenndu, and Babil Khan, amongst others.

2. Fool Me Once
Based on Harlan Coben’s book of the same name, the British thriller follows a widowed former soldier, whose life takes a deadly turn after she watches the footage of her husband’s murder on a security camera.

The ‘Money Heist’ prequel spin-off series follows the terminally ill titular character Berlin (Pedro Alonso) and he planned and executed a mind-blowing plan to steal jewels worth a whopping 44 million euros in just a single night.
