Netflix Is Becoming Your Science Teacher With 3 Body Problem

The makers of Game Of Thrones weren’t playing around as they managed to create something as mind-boggling as “3 Body Problem,” which is definitely one of Netflix’s most prized possessions stacked for the future. But like most great sci-fi movies or series, there comes a big “if.”

A huge number of viewers have no clue about the science part of the show.

Fundamentally, this isn’t an uncommon phenomenon. Firstly, most of these shows feature very futuristic concepts and advanced science, which most people have no idea about, and that is obviously expected. Secondly, you don’t need to be a scientist to stream such shows.

So, in these cases, people just find Google useful. And that’s obviously an encouraging matter and shows how dedicated the fans really are. For instance, Oppenheimer made a lot of people interested in the science part; when people streamed “Dark,” they also had notebooks around them to note things down.

But now, Netflix is making an attempt to simplify the process.

Netflix just posted an article and explained some of the most advanced science concepts that have been used by the makers of the show. From the Cherenkov tank to something as popular as a particle accelerator (Flash fans are having a joyride here).

They even explained some of the most important questions from the series such as ‘How does the countdown in Auggie’s eyes work?’ or ‘How does the 3 Body Problem VR headset work?’ or even ‘Can the sun be used as a super-antenna to reflect and amplify radio waves from other planets to Earth?’

Now, this is obviously a welcoming step for the makers, as initiatives like these will make the viewers interested not only in the show but also build their ABCs for complicated science concepts. And who knows, this might spark the little scientist in you; maybe you can be the next big name in the world of science?
