Jason Bateman gets busier with another project in pipeline with Netflix. Though this time he will probably be found behind the camera directing an upcoming heist film ‘Here Comes The Flood’, as reported by a media agency.
Netflix is not ready to let Bateman go after he brought those Emmy nominations for the platform and this is evident with its deals with the actor. The Ozark actor has already been brought on board by Netflix for co-producing Reese Witherspoon starrer rom-com ‘Your Place Or Mine’ and co-producing as well as starring in a thriller film alongside Millie Bobby Brown.
Jason Bateman will now be working on this new Netflix project, that it grabbed the rights for after winning a seven-figured bidding war. Bateman has repeatedly proven his worth both as a director and an actor time and again.
The script for ‘Here come The Flood’ has been written by Simon Kinberg who describes it as, “an elevated, character-driven love-story heist movie, with the heist playing out in increments.” While reports are that Bateman is being roped in by Netflix as director, he might appear in some or the other role as well in the film.
