It is September 24th and it is big because of Netflix’s TUDUM Festival. Before anywhere else, the fan event started in Korea. Needless to say, Netflix is the poster boy of Korean content particularly in India.
Their original Korean series is insanely popular throughout the world and that is why they always bet big games when it comes to K-Dramas.
Regardless, at 7:30 AM IST, the TUDUM festival began and we started getting overwhelmed with new announcements. The first one came from a rather not-so-popular series.
It was Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area. We all know how great a series original La Casa De Papel is and unfortunately, the Korean remake could not match the same level.
Still, if you remember then in the original Money Heist, Season 1 had 13 episodes. Till now, we have seen only 6 episodes of Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area. So, a sneak peeks into that is what the TUDUM festival began with.
But, how could it be all? Soon after an update on Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area, we saw Hellbound getting renewed for a second season.
But the real fun began from the third update. We saw something from Squid Game which is undoubtedly the most popular Netflix series in the world.
But if you think that K-Dramas are all about romances then you might be fooling yourself. Because Netflix has announced a new series called Physics:100 which is all about ripped males fighting it off.
The next in the list is Single Inferno Season 2 which is about couples left on Inferno island. The participants will entertain you for 10 episodes.
The last in the announcement spree was The Fabulous in which four friends chase their dreams alongside exploring fashion.
Overall, it was a good start for the festival and we are yet to see what comes further.
