The movie follows the story of a South Sudanese couple who flee their war torn country and reach England seeking refuge. Though they granted refuge, they aren’t pronounced citizens just yet as another factor that lingers around is racism. They are offered a place to stay in a neighborhood where they are warned not to go anywhere until further orders. As they look around and finally realise they have a roof over their heads, they slowly start to settle in. But something dark is lurking around them. It wouldn’t leave them to be in peace.
As time progresses, the couple realises there is an unknown energy in the house along with them. Something they can’t see but only feel through the walls, roofs and floors of their new house. Something sinister, something deadly is here for them and they have no idea how to fight it. It is when things start getting worse, the wife suggests about them going back to where they came from. This is what makes the husband determined to find out what actually is it. He tells his wife to never think about such though as they have been through hell and back to be alive and be here in England.
