‘One Piece’, is the only surviving member from the “Big Three” – ‘Bleach’, ‘Naruto’ & ‘One Piece’. Netflix nabbed the production rights for the live action version of this huge anime, and a few hours ago, have revealed the actors who will portray the main characters on this upcoming show. While we still do not know much details (which should change in a few hours), this news has been met with much excitement, but has especially been shown by the series’ lead actor, Iñaki Godoy, who will portray Monkey D. Luffy.
Since around the first thirty episodes of the anime is based on the formation of the Straw Hat Pirates, the show has revealed the actors who will portray the first five core members of this gang – Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji. As mentioned earlier, Iñaki Godoy will portray the captain, Monkey D. Luffy, while Mackenyu will portray the three-sword-wielding master swordsman, Roronoa Zoro. Emily Rudd will play “Cat Burgular” Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson will be the “the tall tale telling” Usopp, and Taz Skylar rounds off the group as “Black Leg” Sanji.
