Netflix and Disney+Hotstar, both platforms have a really nice habit of sharing a fortnightly calendar of whatever is coming on their platform. This helps us to keep an eye on the upcoming releases and ‘us’ to help you guide better.
We have streaming calendars from both the platforms and they do have a plethora of content so which one promises more fun?
Interestingly, there is no direct answer to the same and we will divide the audience into two sections for serving a wider taste.

Apart from 9 Hours and Ashiqana on Disney+Hotstar, there isn’t any original Indian content by any platform. When it comes to foreign content, a division in the audience’s taste is clearly visible. They either go with the flow and watch a buzzy title, or they are selective in that. The latter category which watches lesser-known selective titles may be termed, selective bingers.
For them, Disney+Hotstar certainly offers a greater edge. They are streaming Obi-Wan Kenobi which is not much popular in India. The response of the audience to streaming updates by the platform makes it quite evident. The hardcore Marvel fans might fall for Ms Marvel as it brings some Indian actors too. Also, the platform offers Hockey and Cricket live streaming which gives it an insane edge.
Go With The Flow Bingers
Keep no doubt that Netflix is the platform for you. Unfortunately, you would not be getting any original Indian content this fortnight but you’ve got Peaky Blinders, Jack Ryan, and Floor Is Lava which are insanely popular. There are Jana Gana Mana and CBI5: The Brain from the Malayalam industry which gained positive responses from the public.
So keep an eye out as Netflix is taking good care of such adrenaline-pumping content at least through foreign titles. The Indian titles are coming after a theatrical run.
