Jamtara Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix. The series is the sequel to the hit series which came in 2020. After leaving us on a massive cliffhanger in the first season, Netflix is now back with the second season.
Needless to say, Jamtara Season 2 is a really good series and it is a great weekend binge option for the lovers of crime dramas. But, quite obviously a new wave of energy is pretty evident on the platform. Since February, we have never seen such an aggressive marketing strategy by Netflix. We are talking about Madhuri Dixit’s The Fame Game which is a limit as to how a series can be promoted. However, the credit also goes to Dharmatic Entertainment and the insane popularity of Madhuri Dixit.
If you see then Netflix used many tools for creating buzz. Be it clips, celebrity round table talks, and more, Netflix did a tremendous job after a long long time. The first two episodes along with a recap for the first season was uploaded on YouTube.
Now, the big question.
Was it worth it?
Of course, it was. Not only Jamtara is a good series but also has the potential to tap the lovers of crime dramas. Had they shown similar energy with Delhi Crime Season 2 then the result would be much better.
