The expectations are already high for the sci-fi series as it shares the same creators as Game Of Thrones. Now, during Netflix’s Geeked Week, the studios dropped a new set of clips along with the release date, injecting excitement among the fans.
In terms of what to expect from the show, the studio also provides us with new descriptions:
“A young woman’s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time into the present day. When the laws of nature inexplicably unravel before their eyes, a close-knit group of brilliant scientists joins forces with an unflinching detective to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.”
The series is adapted from Cixin Liu’s The Three Body Problem, and Netflix announced this show almost four years ago.
The trailer takes us to the world of Three Body Problem and acquaints us with the device that takes us to a world of ‘VR’ where things seem ‘too real’. Though the extended clip started with a dose of sarcasm, the ending was intense with a curious dialogue, “You were not invited,” as you see Jack Rooney (John Bradley) getting slashed.
Bradley, Hong, and Shimooka are set to join the talented cast of “3 Body Problem,” alongside wonderful co-stars such as Benedict Wong, Eiza González, Jovan Adepo, Alex Sharp, Saamer Usmani, Liam Cunningham, Rosalind Chao, Jonathan Pryce, Marlo Kelly, Ben Schnetzer, and Zine Tseng.
The sci-fi series will make its debut on Netflix on March 21, 2024, and if you want to have a peek at the extended clip, click below –
