You must have heard about Class, the new Netflix India series that was released last month. One very important detail that was not marketed by Netflix India is its remake. Class is actually a remake of the superhit Spanish show “Elite”.
Anyways, Class was indeed a good remake and the way Netflix remade the show in the Indian context is remarkable indeed. Unfortunately, the show failed to register its presence in the International markets and it failed to go global.
But, there are six seasons of Elite and the Indian remake has to go on for a long time. Thus, Netflix has ordered the renewal of the show. Interestingly, the show has been trending at number one for about a month now, so anyways it is a healthy opportunity if we consider the Indian market only.
The show stars Gurfateh Pirzada as Neeraj, Anjali Sivaraman as Suhani, Ayesha Kanga as Yashika, Chayan Chopra as Dhruv, Chintan Rach as Faruq, Cyaawal Singh as Balli, Madhyama Segal as Saba, Moses Koul as Sharan, Naina Bhan as Koel, Piyush Khati as Dheeraj and Zeyn Shaw as Veer.
