Unsurprisingly, the show has also received four Emmy nominations for its third season.
‘Cobra Kai’ is set more than three decades after the events of the 1984 cult film ‘The Karate Kid’. Whereas tables turned in the spin-off web series as the goings-on are narrated from Johnny Lawrence’s point of view in a universe where he becomes the underdog.
The third season of ‘Cobra Kai’ concluded with Johnny Lawrence teaming up for the first time with Daniel LaRusso to jointly train their students for the next All-Valley Karate tournament against their common enemy John Kreese (played by Martin Kove).
The third season’s finale also showed Kreese making a call to his equally evil friend Terry Silver (played by Thomas Ian Griffith). Terry Silver’s character was seen in ‘The Karate Kid Part III’. Griffith is set to reprise his role in ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 4 and his presence is certainly bound to further spice up the proceedings.
