Netflix has announced the renewal of comedy drama ‘Unstable’ for a second season. Created by Rob Lowe, John Owen Lowe and Victor Fresco, ‘Unstable’ season 2 is slated to begin production in Los Angeles later this month.
Unstable follows eccentric entrepreneur Ellis as he reconnects with his estranged son, Jackson (John Owen Lowe), who moves back home to help pull his father out of an emotional freefall. At the end of season 1, a last-minute technological breakthrough saw Ellis narrowly avoid being removed from the board of his own company. Instead, he ousted his friend turned rival, Jean (Christina Chang) and then blew up her car.
Created by Rob Lowe, John Owen Lowe and Victor Fresco, retuning cast members for ‘Unstable’ season 2 include Rob Lowe, John Owen Lowe, Sian Clifford, Rachel Marsh, Emma Ferreira and Aaron Branch.
Andrew Gurland (‘Married’, ‘Platonic’) joins ‘Unstable’ Season 2 as executive producer and showrunner with Claire Scanlon (‘Set It Up’) serves as director and executive producer. Sean Clements also executive produces.
