Netflix Renews ‘Welcome To Eden’ For S2, Adds New Cast

Netflix has now officially confirmed second season of recent hit Spanish series ‘Welcome To Eden’. Released a couple of weeks ago, ‘Welcome To Eden’ has continued to rank highly on Netflix’s global Top 10 list for non-English TV.

As per official stats, ‘Welcome To Eden’ has accumulated 116,970,000 hours viewed since its premiere and is currently in the Top 10 in 68 countries including Spain, France, Germany, Turkey, Argentina, Mexico, and Brazil.

Season one of ‘Welcome To Eden’ followed Zoa and her friends as they get invited to an exclusive party on a secret remote island, sponsored by a new drink. But the tempting paradise they find waiting for them holds dangerous secrets and entrapments.

At the end of season one, Zoa’s plan to escape Eden’s island paradise fell through and this means the trip of a lifetime isn’t coming to an end anytime soon and will continue in season two.

In this new season, mystery and danger at the island keep growing and Eden Foundation welcomes new characters played by Carlos Torres (‘The Queen of Flow’) and Nona Sobo (‘Entrevías’). They will join Amaia Aberasturi (‘Akelarre’), Amaia Salamanca (‘Despite Everything’), Belinda Peregrín, Berta Castañé, Lola Rodríguez (‘Veneno’), Sergio Momo (‘Élite’),Begoña Vargas (‘High Seas’), Tomy Aguilera (‘SKAM Spain’), Guillermo Pfening (‘Foodie Love’), Diego Garisa, Lucía Guerrero (‘Grupo 7’), Carlos Soroa, Dariam Coco and Irene Dev who will return to reprise their roles.

Directed by Denis Rovira (‘La influencia’) and Juanma Pachón (‘Heridas’), all episodes of Netflix’s ‘Welcome To Eden’ season two is written by Joaquín Górriz (‘Desaparecidos’) and Guillermo López (‘Atrapada’).

Brutal Media has produced ‘Welcome To Eden’ season two that is currently being filmed in different locations in Spain including Lanzarote, Barcelona and Teruel.
