Netflix has released the much awaited trailer of May December.
May December is based on a sensational romance between a married woman and a 13 year old adolescent. It was the favorite of the newspapers two decades back.
The teacher Mary Kay Letourneau and her student Vili Fualaau were the ones involved in the romance. The movie stars two very prominent Hollywood stars namely Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore.
In “May December,” Portman portrays Elizabeth, a television star. Her character is researching a new role by immersing herself in the lives of Gracie (played by Moore) and her significantly younger husband, Joe (played by Charles Melton), whom she will be portraying on screen. As Elizabeth delves deeper into the family’s world, unsettling truths about their scandalous past come to light, triggering the reemergence of challenging and long-suppressed emotions.
The movie is set to be released on Netflix on December 1st.
But, the teaser is unavailable in India.
Netflix has restricted the star studded trailer of May December which is very confusing. The reason might be the scandalous nature of the film but c’mon, Indians can handle it well.
The teaser shows “unavailable in your location” which is very confusing because such Hollywood films are not new even in India. Let’s hope the film gets released in India.
