We all know that Netflix is now head-on against the password-sharing method. After the setback of losing several million subscribers, the platform adopted several changes. They changed several ways of serving content, but the biggest strike was actually a crackdown on password sharing.
Family members who are living scattered for several reasons won’t be able to log into Netflix through the same credentials.
They need to remain inside the same confinement of 4 walls if they want to continue using Netflix.
Regardless, this step indeed boosted their subscriber growth. All those friends, basically students who used to share passwords stopped sharing so because of this issue. Many of them must have chosen to buy new subscriptions which led them to have better numbers.
However, the overall method is very chaotic. They did not execute the plan well and users are getting frustrated over here.
What’s their issue? Divide within the family. The same family is being forced to have multiple accounts and obviously, nobody wants that. So, there is a sort of chaos.
