Netflix has posted a new image on X (Twitter), which teases an important plot detail for The Crown Season 6. This image will help the fans think about what to expect from the sixth season. Let’s check it out!

The streaming giant has tweeted a new image for Season 6, which teases the 2005 royal wedding between Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. It means the upcoming season will take place nearly nine years after the tragic demise of Princess Diana.

It has been confirmed that Season 6 will explore key events surrounding the Royal Family during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The forthcoming entry will also explore Princess Diana’s death and focus on the events that led to her controversial and highly publicised car crash. Though, it will not depict the horrifying incident. Elizabeth Debicki will reprise the role of Princess Diana in the sixth season.

After Diana’s death, the series’ focus will shift to Prince William and Kate Middleton. Meg Bellamy is set to portray the latter figure. On the other hand, Ed McVey will play Prince William.

Other notable performers, such as Imelda Staunton, Dominic West, Jonathan Pryce, and Leslie Manville, will also return to reprise their respective characters in The Crown Season 6. Stay tuned for more updates.
